Migration of blog and upcoming news!

Hi there, all SPAVC members (and whichever lost soul who stumbles upon this page)!

Rumour has it that we've shifted to a new address after a grand total of just slightly over half a week in operation from another address. And it's true! From now on you can check in here on the latest developments in the club, dates of weekly activites, interact with your fellow clubmates and much, much more! We hope to make a community out of you people through this blog. As this is our first time moderating our own website we endeavour to make it as interesting and engaging as possible but it isn't possible with just us thinking of improvements, and so WE WANT YOU to give us as much feedback as possible! Good or bad, we welcome all. Comment away!

On to the more serious stuff now. We know that at SPAVC we have been less than enthusiastic in our endeavours of late and we do humbly grovel and beg for forgiveness. But fret not, we're not our old selves after some good R&R during the holidays (we know it wasn't much of a holiday but any day without school is still a cause for celebration). As of today, we're going to gear up and make ourselves look good again.

Starting from this week, we have arranged a thoroughly exciting and deeply engaging buffet of activities designed specially to keep you interested in Aviation and the club as a whole. Lined up for you for next week are some lessons that include aeromodelling and even actual flying of our very own model aeroplanes. We promise to let you have a go at the controls.

Also lined up for the very first time in our club's most illustrious history is an activity most of you are familiar with which is called a camp. It involves the pitching of tents, early morning marches and trench digging. We kid. This camp will be an absolutely fun-filled event all the way through. We have on board a responsible and dedicated group of people who are tasked to ensure that proceedings run smoothly (guys, get to work...) and that any possible foul-ups are anticipated and dealt with.

That pretty much sums it all up we think. And on that bombshell we want to wish you an exciting week ahead.

FLy High!
